The new gas storage facility impresses with a diameter of 40 metres and a particularly high storage volume - achieved thanks to the innovative 50% spherical shape. In addition to the large storage volume, the shape also enables a high degree of flexibility in the event of operational fluctuations. Thanks to a sophisticated supporting air system, the gas storage tank is statically stable at all times.

The gas cylinder fulfils the highest standards of safety and material quality. The inner and outer membranes are stable, tear-resistant, high-frequency welded and UV and weather-resistant. The material is also fire-protection treated - a crucial aspect for the safe operation of biogas plants.
